I'm a true oatmeal cookie monster... I only counted, as well as January 2018, I've shared 47 oatmeal cookie recipes with you. Eep! Have you ever tried any of these yet? (? You'll find all of my oatmeal cookie recipes directly there!) They are some of the most well-known recipes on my blog cause they taste very sweet and cozy, exactly like conventional"indulgent" oatmeal cookie recipes, but they include no refined flour or sugar!

So you're going to begin with whole wheat germ (or gluten free, if you like ) and instant oats (such as those... or those for a gluten free version!) . Immediate oats are thinner and smaller than traditional rolled oats, and you can find them in canisters right alongside those classic oats in the grocery store.

I probably seem like a broken record by now... But cause I ? you and also need your cookies to flip out absolutely plump and soft, I am reminding you again... Measure your yogurt and bread correctly, with this method or a kitchen scale! (? That is the one I have and love. It just cost $20!) Too much of either side will make your cookies taste cakey or dry, rather than chewy. This is especially true of this oats--that they act like little sponges and consume plenty of moisture from the cookie dough!

Ripe bananas- ideal for baking! Love all of @amybakeshealthy's yummy & healthier banana recipes!

See these bananas? And all those brown stains? When it comes to baking bananas, brown = beautiful! I ? additional speckly bananas cause they've a lot glowing, read review bold flavor--and also additional sweetness! That's the minimum number of brown which I recommend. More is better!

The remainder of the cookie dough's sweetness comes from a different natural ingredient... Pure maple syrup (like this!) . You desire the sort that comes straight from pine trees, which is generally sold in skinny glass jars or squat, round plastic jugs. Forget the pancake sugar and sugar!

The raisins add even more sweetness! The recently purchased, additional plump, perfectly soft ones are ideal... But for those who have elderly, somewhat dried out raisins (hmm... it sounds absurd to explain dried fruit as dried out! ) , that is fine!

Only add them into a microwave-safe bowl, and pour water on top till they're fully coated. Seal plastic wrap across the top, and microwave the bowl on high for 1 minute. Should you let the peppers sit while mixing together the cookie dough, this little trick hydrates them they're exceptionally juicy--and that makes a large difference in these cookies once they're baked!

Yields: 15 biscuits

These oatmeal cookies are soft, chewy, and full of banana flavor! The recognizable cozy spices and plump raisins make them even more irresistible. They will keep for at least one week if kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator--should they last that long!

1 cup (100g) instant oats (fermented if required and measured like that )

3/4 cup (90g) whole wheat or gluten-free* flour (quantified like that )

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter or olive oil, melted and cooled slightly

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 cup (40g) raisins

In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, milk, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Add the flour mixture, stirring only until incorporated.

Preheat the oven to 325°F, plus a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.

With a spoon and spatula, drop the cookie dough into 15 rounded scoops on the sheet, and apply to the desired thickness and width using Vegan Cookie Recipes - Veganbaking.net - Recipes, desserts and tips a spatula. Bake in 325°F for 10-12 minutes.

Notes: It's extremely important to quantify both the oats and flour properly using this technique or even a kitchen scale. (? That's exactly the one I own and adore!) Too much of either could dry out of the biscuits and leave them cakey rather than chewy.

Instant oats are also referred to as quick-cooking or minute oats. They arrive in huge canisters, just like conservative oats. They are not the ones at the small flavored loaf of bread. To make your own, include the same number of classic oats to your food processor, and pulse 10-12 days or until the oats are about 1/4 to ? of the initial size.

For the fermented flour, I suggest the following blend: 1/2 cup (60g) millet flour, two tablespoons (15g) tapioca flour, 2 tablespoons (15g) brown rice flour, as well as 1/2 tsp xanthan gum. Most store-bought fermented flour blends (such as this one!) Will also do the job, if quantified like this.

In case your pancakes are older, dryer, and not too plump or succulent... Add them to a microwave-safe bowl, and put water at the top until they're completely covered. Seal plastic wrap over the surface, and then microwave the bowl on high for 1 second. Should you allow the peppers sit while mixing together the cookie dough, this little trick hydrates them they're really soft and succulent!
